SKCC Sprintathon

I don't transmit much but yesterday I participated in the latest Straight Key Century Club (SKCC) Sprintathon. It was more fun than I expected. Considering that my main transmitting aerial is a too-short, random-length, OCF wire in the attic just above the TV and very near some metal flashing, I was hoping for 2 QSOs. I managed to get six, plus two that were that were not part of the event. That was encouraging enough to get me to mark the April event in my calendar.
